You guys are HEROES!!!

Two winters ago I had the flu (despite getting the shot) and a couple weeks after that, a bad stomach bug. I still remember how seriously enfeebled I was, and how grouchy my husband got having to take care of me. :-) This winter seems to be really taking a toll on people - hope you're feeling better soon and don't catch anything else! Glad Carter bounced back quickly, too.

RiderWriterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05679157278313699794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113210295764288330.post-72733244530247722522013-01-16T10:44:38.049-06:002013-01-16T10:44:38.049-06:00It's a good thing I don't run a retirement...It's a good thing I don't run a retirement farm because under those circumstances I would have decided that any horse that runs clearly isn't cold enough to be blanketed!

I was going to tease you about getting it worse than wee Carter but being married to a Russian I'm just going to go with the stereotype and say I'm not surprised because they have guts of iron. Honestly, in 14 years Alex hasn't been sick to his stomach once.

The wonders of spring are just around the corner for you guys - hang in there!RuckusButthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14760056031442317243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113210295764288330.post-73261198268280292892013-01-16T05:49:30.812-06:002013-01-16T05:49:30.812-06:00That sounds just plain miserable. And, if anyone starts going on about how lovely and pleasant running a horse retirement farm must be, refer them to this post.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113210295764288330.post-60488608888583039382013-01-16T05:02:10.998-06:002013-01-16T05:02:10.998-06:00Ooo. She's had the fence-leaning illness before :). There is a nasty flu thing going around here and she hopes not to get it. Hope you've recovered fully now...and wee Carter too!IsobelleGoLightlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10233377230754119180noreply@blogger.com
