When we put in a small barn and two pastures in our back yard, the one thing I knew was not optional was automatic waterers. I grew up on a farm, so I knew what was involved in getting water to livestock in winter. We have replaced our first Everfresh with Varnum (somehow the Everfresh could not withstand my Percheron-Arab cross STANDING in them). However when we lose power and it gets in single digits, I am up a creek!
