Construction Continues

I thought I would share some pictures of our latest construction ventures. Honestly I'm not sure why since the pictures of our construction projects often look the same - fence, fence and more fence. No doubt you are waiting with eager anticipation to see even more fence pictures. If the suspense is killing you just scroll down a bit and skip my rambling to see the latest and greatest fence pictures.

You will recall that we had to do some bulldozer work to make it easier for this round of fencing to be built. You might also recall that I almost croaked when I saw the bill. I will admit that when I look at the pictures below it does seem like the path the bulldozer cleared is a bit, hmmmmmm, wider than it needs to be? So many words come to mind, overkill topping the list.

I think we're at something like 12,000 feet of fence total so far. I'm not really sure. I've stopped counting because if I know the exact number then it is too easy to do the math in my head and think about the cost. I definitely don't want to think about that.

Enjoy these captivating fence pictures!

Look at that beautiful, wide path to go along with our new fence

more fence

even more fence

I'll stop with this picture as I think you get the idea of what the fence looks like (as if you didn't already know)

I had to zoom in on Norman. Does it get any cuter than this?

I have a real hard time keeping three posts straight, much less 12k feet. Love to admire those straight fences!

Looks great!! I'd like to go for a hack along that nice extra wide path beside the fence! :-)

A mile of barbed wire fence has just about put me in the poor house... I can't imagine footing the bill for your project. But it sure does look nice! Nothing prettier than rolling hills, shade trees and straight sturdy fence.

Am I a farm geek for so thoroughly enjoying those fence pictures? Nice work.

And I second Laura's idea!

I love the fence pictures! Wood fencing done right is so pretty!

Think of it this way: Jason made you a wonderful path for hacking/conditioning!

Question:
Why did you choose wood board over any of the other options out there?
