Happy Birthday Jason

Everybody please join me in wishing Jason a happy birthday! Today he is another year older and (at least in theory) wiser. Happy Birthday Jason!!

After a birthday dinner at Ruth's Chris we went to Barnes & Noble so I could purchase Jason's birthday present - a Nook. This is the second time I have gifted Jason with a Nook. The first time was Christmas 2009. The Nook sat on a table unused for three months, and finally I announced if he wasn't going to use it then *I* was going to use the Nook. I was quite happy to no longer be lugging books around and trying to find space on the bookshelves for yet another book. Even better I like being able to purchase and download a book at 10pm while I am sitting in bed.

Jason being the luddite that he is made snide remarks about me and my/his Nook. But after almost a year and a half of watching me use his Nook he decided that he would like one too. For the second time I have given Jason the gift of a Nook. We'll see if he actually manages to use it this time. I should start a betting pool!
