Wednesday Pictures

As seems to be my theme in the last few weeks this will be a quick post as I am again short on time! First I want to thank Luanne for the blog award - it is always nice to know that someone aside from myself and Jason finds this blog of interest. Part of paying it forward isn't just passing the award along to other blogs but also listing ten things about yourself that others don't know about you. Luanne's were very interesting as were the ones that Kate wrote on her blog. You are both really interesting people! I'm kind of a boring person really but in one of my next posts I'll try to come up with ten things about myself that aren't common knowledge. Hmmmm, this could be tough . . .

It has been an excellent week so far with some great things to blog about. I just need to sit my butt down at my desk long enough to write a half decent blog post. That seems to be a tall order for me these days. Is anybody still bothering to read this lately?? I think that is one of those don't ask the question if you don't want to know the answer type deals (my finger is hovering over the backspace button).

On to some pictures:

Hi Melissa,
Yes I'm still here! I thought my 10 facts were NOT that exciting and it was hard to come up with all of them! LOL! Hey you could list five of yours and five of Jason's? Great photos and love the one with the Don and.... Teddy so cute from the side! I've been really busy too around here since I got home from FL. Once you've been away, you kind of get out of the blog thing as more important things take first priority! How's Kate's horses settling in? Can't wait to see them join the family of all your equines! You better believe I'm reading! My blog posting has been patchy at best, but my reading is still going strong!

Please don't stop posting! It gets me through the day. It's the first I visit every morning, right after TB Friends.

I'm still reading!!! I *love* your blog...it's like a mini-vacation that I get to take. :-) I stop by here every day, if for no other reason than to check out the photos again.

I honestly don't know how you find the time to blog what with everything else in your life, but I have to tell you that if you stopped I'd be sad. :-(

Thanks for letting us "visit" your farm through your blog!

Awwww my big guy is sooooo chubby! I LOVE it! LOL. I can't wait to get down there very, very soon to give all of you hugs and my big, French horse a huge kiss <3

Of course we're reading! I'd be reading even if Lily and Norman weren't there with you - you were the first horse blog I ever read, and the reason I started writing my own blog in the first place - I don't think I ever told you that!

You are sauve to the wound!! I love you blog!!
I miss my green fields and horse herds of Northern Ca. Living in Southeastern Arizona is about as different as can be. My horses stood at the front gate of their 5 acres sand dirt no trees field for a year waiting for the next horse trailer ride "home". I still get those looks. I've even indulged them in a mini pasture of 1 whole acre of pasture! Everything is difficult at best. If the wind blows, there goes the hay. If it rains it dumps on you and washes everything away. Our latest is our hay from the grower. It impacted with fine sandy dirt because of a wind storm after the hay was cut.The hay was then baled, (o'well?)
Our grower says it happens. "Act of God" is how he put it. Sigh
So after a day of trying to figure how to keep horses from entertaining themselves by tearing up anything of use your blog is one cool oasis!
I miss my tractor and mowing and irrigating and all things involved to live in a green horse "fish bowl".
So you just keep taking pictures and blogging cause you keep alot of us soothed!!
